That, is the question....
So, I'm trying to decide what architecture is going to benefit us the most, and I've got it narrowed down to two different configurations.
- Total dVswitch envrironment
- Hybring sVswitch and dVswitch environment
Here are a couple illustrations highlighting what I'm thinking:
dVswitch only:

Hybrid:

If I were limited to two cables (10g or CNA), I think it would be a "no-brainer" and go with the dVswitch only environment. But because my organization requires cable separation for security reason. I'm thinking more towards the hybrid. If the vCenter server were to fail, there would be no way to manage the system :(
What are your thoughts?
Again, it depends on if we switch over to a CNA environment, if we stick with copper Gig-E, I think I'll go hybrid
