Missing NFS mount on ESX host?

Upon logging in this morning, I noticed one of my ESX hosts was out of compliance: nas-vmtemplates was missing! OMG!

So I quickly tried to add the mount manually, error!

The specified key, name, or identifier already exists

I did some digging around and finally tried:

vim-cmd /hostsvc/storage/refresh

And voila! It was back!

Finally, VMware quietly released the much anticipated patch that's been plaguing our DvSwitch environment.

This bug thats been plaguing us is highlighted here:

Virtual machines connected to a vNetwork Distributed Switch (vDS) are disconnected after a failover
vDS virtual machine port changes persist the port configuration every five minutes. Since virtual machine port changes are not persisted immediately, virtual machines might lose network connectivity after a failover event if they have been configured to link to a vDS less than five minutes before the failover.

This issue is resolved in this release.

Back to the drawing board to re-test our prospective environment!
